Basil Street is rolling out pizza vending machines branded as an automated pizza kitchen (APK) stateside, which pops out quality signature pies in just 3 minutes. The innovative pizza company first hit up California, Texas, North Carolina and Nevada for a trial run during the pandemic and immediately received positive feedback for the convenient application.
The vending machine delivers three options of 10-inch Italian brick-oven style thin-crust pizzas that go for about $4.95 USD to $14.95 USD. Traditional fan favorites such as four-cheese, pepperoni and supreme are made from “domestically sourced, top-quality ingredients.” For some variety, the Los Angeles-based company also includes “Pizzas of the Month” with buffalo chicken and breakfast flavors currently up for grabs.
“Automated food kiosks are accepted globally as a viable option for meals on the go. As the need for contact-free solutions rises in the U.S., we have successfully combined America’s favorite meal with patented technology to deliver restaurant-quality food at the touch of a button,” stated Deglin Kenealy, CEO of Basil Street.
Basil Street looks to launch 50 more by this fall across the United States.
