Jeremy Garelick will direct a sequel to Murder Mystery for Netflix, with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston expected to reprise their roles, according to Deadline.
The outlet reported that Netflix is expediting production on the follow-up film, which will shoot in Paris and the Caribbean.
In the original 2019 movie, Sandler and Aniston play a married couple who are framed for the murder of a wealthy elderly man while vacationing on a yacht. During its first week on Netflix, more than 30 million users watched at least two minutes of the film, driving a four-week estimate of $73 million USD.
